Two committees have been formed to investigate the accident at the Jamuna Oil Depot in Chittagong on Saturday.
The Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) has formed a five-membered committee led by S M Rejoan Hossain, director (marketing) of BPC. The committee will submit a report within Monday.
Meanwhile, Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD) formed another committee led by Assistant Director Md Eyahiya.
The committees have been asked to submit the reports within a week.
BPC Chairman Md Eunusur Rahman and Md Jashim Uddin, deputy assistant director of FSCD confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Bipu visited Chittagong Medical College on Saturday to visit the injured workers.
He talked with the hospital authorities about the medical expenses, confirmed Jamuna Oil Depot Managing Director Alimuddin Ahmed.
