Two children have been killed as a truck rammed a rickshaw down in the Masterbari Bazar area under Bhaluka upazila in the district.
The deceased were identified as Alfaz, 11, son of Sultan, of Raghaichoti village and Shahidul, 8, son of Bachu, of Kazibaira village.
Witnesses said a truck rammed their rickshaw down in the Masterbari Bazar area while they were returning home, killing them on the spot.
Bhaluka model police station Officer-in-Charge Abul Kalam Azad said: “The accident took place around 10am.”
