A pregnant woman was stabbed to deathin Kapasia upazila in Gazipur district on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Minara Khatun, 25. She was six-months pregnant.
The incident took place at her husband’s house at Haola Banar village around 8pm.
Kapasia police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Moniruzzaman said: “She was stabbed centring a family feud.”
He said: “Minara’s husband Abu Hanif, his second wife Rohima Akhter and neighbour Shamim have been detained in connection with the murder.”
The SI said police recovered the body around 11pm and took it to Kapasia police station.
Later, it was sent to Gazipur Sadar Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination around 11am on Tuesday.
