A transport worker has been stabbed to death and two others have been injured in an attack by miscreants at Pagladah village under Jessore sadar upazila.
The deceased was identified as Muktar Hossain, 35, son of Momtaz Ali of the village.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali police station Emdadul Haque Sheikh said: “They were injured when some armed men attacked them at Pagladah village around 11pm.”
“They were rushed to Jessore Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared Muktar dead,” he said.
The injured are Bashir, 28 and Sabbir, 20.
