The Officer in-Charge at Kazipur police station, Motiar Rahman has been stand released on charge of negligence.
Superintendent of police SM Imran Hossain has issued the stand release order on Saturday afternoon.
Kazipur police station Inspector (investigation) Abdul Jalil confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said: “Motiar has been attached at the district police line.”
However, the authority did not disclose any detailed information in this regard.
