Sport journalist Mahmud’s father passes away

Alhaj Afajuddin Ahmed, father of a senior sub-editor of The Financial Express AHM Mahmudul Haque, died of old-age complications at his residence at Sribodi in Sherpur district in the early hours yesterday.He was 91, family sources said. He was buried at his family graveyard following a namaz-e- janaza at his village mosque after Asr prayers.  Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) expressed condolence at the death of Alhaj Afajuddin Ahmed.  They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
