Awami League backed candidate Saruar Alam has won the post of Upazila Chairman of Bajitpur, Kishoreganj unofficially on Wednesday, defeating the BNP-backed candidate Kaiyum Khan Helal.
Saruar has bagged 51,460 votes while his nearest candidate Kaiyum got 42394 votes.
