A driver died and another was injured when two laden trucks collided head-on in Baraigram upazila, Natore in the early hours of Wednesday.
The deceased was Sarwar, 55, son of late Daud Hossain from Jhenaidah. The injured was Alauddin, 20, son of Monir Hossain from Jessore.
The two trucks rammed into each other near the Koinbazar area around 1:45am, Banpara highway police Seargant Mahbubur Rahman said.
Banpara highway police Officer-in-Charge Masud Pervez confirmed the information. The body has been retrieved and has been kept at the police station.
