Three members of a family, including a woman and a child, have been killed in a road accident in the district’s Chouddagram upazila on Friday afternoon.
The deceased were Sikandar Ali, 67, his daughter Hosne Ara, 45, and Sikandar’s granddaughter Tultul, 11.
Miabazar Highway police sergeant Sahabuddin confirmed of the deaths.
Witnesses said a passenger bus ran over a microbus at 2:45pm, leaving one individual in the microbus dead on the spot and 10 others injured.
Two others succumbed to their injuries on their way to the hospital.
