Namaj-e-janaza of the two army men was held in Ghatail Cantonment in Tangail yesterday, the Inter Services Public Relations said in a press release.
Senior warrant officers Parvez of 20 East Bengal and Manzur of 4 East Bengal had died on the spot.
The killed BGB men were Lance Naik Mohammad Ali and sepoys Abu Sufiyan, Ekramul Haque and Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Their namaj-e-janaza was held at the Pilkhana headquarters.
State Minister for Home Assaduzzaman Khan, BGB DG Maj Gen Aziz, and members and officers of the BGB attended the prayer. The BGB authorities handed over cheques of Tk5 lakh and Tk25,000 in cash to each family of the four deceased.
