The 7th National Aloha Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Festival 201 will be held at the city’s Shahid Suhrawardi Indoor stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka on February 14. ALOHA Bangladesh is organising a competition where children will show their extraordinary mathematical skills by calculating 70 sums within 5 minutes. Over 1000 students of 300 different schools from Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Comilla and Rangpur will participate in a five-minute Abacus competition and it would be followed by an award giving ceremony.
Mr. Abdullah Abu Sayeed, National Professor & Chairman, Bishwa Shahitta Kendra, has kindly given his consent to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Ms Rubaba Dowla, Chief Service Officer, Airtel Bangladesh and Loh Mun Sung, Founder of Aloha International, Malaysia, will kindly attend the function as Special Guests.
Aloha students will give a live demonstration on ALOHA program on the occasion and it will come to an end by a prize giving ceremony.
