The third phase of upazila polls will be held on March 15 in 83 upazilas, including eight coastal and haor upazilas, of the country.
Election Commissioner Md Shah Newaz announced the election schedule at a press conference on Thursday afternoon.
The last date of filing nomination papers is February 15. The papers will be scrutinised by February 17. The last day of nomination withdrawal is February 24.
Meanwhile, the EC has finalised the list of 51,587 polling centres which will hold the third phase of the upazila polls. The total number of voters in these upazilas is 19,852,097.
Earlier, the EC announced schedules for the first two phases of the elections in 215 upazilas, which will be held on February 19 and 27.
