Fifteen supporters of the BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami were detained in special drives conducted by police in Ullapara upazila, Sirajganj on Tuesday.
The raids were conducted from noon until evening, Sirajganj police Additional Superintendent Mokhter Hossain said. “Similar raids will continue.”
The detainees have several cases of sabotage and anarchy against them, the police official said. “Since raids are underway, identities cannot e revealed.”
