Travellers to and from Bangladesh have been allowed to carry local currency of up to Tk5,000 from existing Tk2,000 per person as Bangladesh Bank relaxed the rules yesterday.
They will not have to declare before departure or on arrival if they carry no more than the amount, said a circular.
