A security staff died run over by a vehicle in the capital's Uttara area in the early hours of Saturday.
A car ran over Abul Kashem, 46, son of Helal Uddin from Naogaon and a security guard, when he was returning home on a bicycle in Uttara sector-13 around 1:15am.
Locals rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead. Later, police Sub Inspector Hajrot Ali took the body to Dhaka Medical College morgue.
However, the employer of Abul Kashem could not be ascertained immediately. SI Hajrot Ali endorsed the details to Dhaka Medical College Hospital authorities.
