Three boys have been killed as a bus rammed a locally motorised vehicle, nasiman, down in Srirampur area on Jessore - Narail road in the district on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Rubel, 15, driver of the vehicle, Abdul Gafur, 17, and Habibur Rahman, 12. They all hailed from Dakkhin Srirampur village.
Joudeb Kumar Bhadra, superintendent of police, Jessore, told the Dhaka Tribune that a passenger bus rammed the nasiman down around 12:30pm, leaving Ruble and Gafur killed on the spot and Habibur injured.
Later, Habibur was taken at Jessore Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead, he added.
Police said the driver of the killer bus managed to flee the scene immediately after the incident.
