Chittagong court has seen a fire on Monday evening in front of its room where evidences are preserved.
Fire fighters doused the flame immediately after the incident.
Additional Commissioner (prosecution) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police Rezaul Masud said fire in some rejected evidences and objects in the adjacent places was noticed at around 7:45pm.
However, fire service rushed to the spot immediately and doused the flame at 8:05pm.
The police are investigating whether there was anybody behind fire incident or any motive of subversion. He said the fire could not damage anything important.
