The prime minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Mohammad Najib, congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her third-time premiership.
The felicitation was issued on Sunday, three weeks after Awami League was re-elected to power, an information ministry handout said.
The Malaysian prime minister reiterated his commitment to work together for mutual benefit of the two countries in bilateral and international affairs.
He also expressed his desire to continue and further strengthen the fruitful and warm relationship between Bangladesh and Malaysia.
