Hasan Ullah Khan Rana, sports editor of Jamuna TV, retained the post of the president of Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) while Sanat Babla, special correspondent of Kaler Kantha, was elected general secretary of the organisation for the next two years in the election held on Saturday.
A total 166 out of 176 voters casted their votes for the 19-member committee. The other office bearers are vice-president Talha Bin Nazrul (Manabzamin), vice-president Kazi Shahidul Alam (Ajkaler Khabor), joint-secretaries Mahbub Sarker (Banik Barta), Sohel Sarwar (Ittefaq), Rakibur Rahman (Firstnewsbd.com).
Members are Ekramuzzaman, Rafiqul Islam Miah, Aminul Haque Mallik, Khairul Islam Shahin, Shahabuddin, Selim Nazrul Haque, Anwarullah, Ziauddin Saimum, Sanaul Haque Khan and Mahmudul Hasan Shamim. Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) and Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) congratulated the new committee and wished success.
