The High Court Sunday granted one month anticipatory bail to Hall-Mark Chairman Jasmin in connection with a corruption case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission.
The HC bench of Justice Naima Haider and Justice Jafar Ahmed passed the bail order following a bail petition filed by the accused.
Jasmin Islam was present during the bail hearing.
ACC’s lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan told the Dhaka Tribune: “We have already applied to Chamber Judge to postpone the order.”
Earlier on November 13, ACC ordered Jasmin to submit her wealth statement. Jasmin applied for increasing the timeline by 3 months. The ACC increased the time for one week but she failed to submit the statement. Later, the ACC filed a case against Jasmin on 12 December.
