Police, in a drive, recovered petrol bombs and sticks from BNP’s Sheerpur upazila office in Bogra on Saturday night.
Sheerpur police station Officer-in-charge Ali Ahmed Hashmi said:”Acting on a tip off, police raided the office and recovered two petrol bombs and more than 100 sticks.”
He said some 3kgs of pins, used to puncture tyres, were also recovered from the office.
Police sources a case will be filed against those who kept the things at the office to enact subversive acts.
