Communication Minister Obaidul Quader has vowed his government would revolutionise the communication system of the country in this tenure.
The minister made the remark while visiting Salna in Gazipur to see the development of the construction of four lanes for Dhaka-Mymensingh Higway on Saturday morning. “The revolutionary changes would be seen in the communication system in this term of the government,” said Obaidul.
He hoped that the project would be done by the middle of the next fiscal year.
Obaidul pledged that the government would further mobilise its coordinated efforts to curb accidents and congestions.
“We have lagged behind to the targeted goal due to the political instability,” he said.
Addressing to the roads and highway officers, Obaidul said he didn’t want to hear anything like sufferings on the Dhaka-Mymensing highway in the next rainy season.
