The motorcade of Ganajagaran Mancha’s road march left Bogra town for Thakurgaon with police escort on Saturday morning.
The first roadside rally will be held in Gobindaganj of Gaibandha. The activists of the Mancha will hold another roadside rally at Palashbari upazila. They will visit to the affected areas and distribute reliefs to the victims in the upazila.
On Saturday, the motorcade of Ganajagaran Mancha’s road march came under attack in two separate phases at Bogra’s Sahajanpur and Sherpur upazilas.
More than five people were injured in the attacks during its anti-communal road march.
Ganajagaran Mancha’s road march is on its way towards Thakurgaon to protest the recent atrocities against members of the local Hindu community, centering their participation on the 10th parliamentary election.
