Police have held 12 Rohingyas for trying to intrude into Bangladesh territory from Aochiya area under Satkania upazila in Chittagong on Thursday night.
The detainees were identified as Hashem, 27, Karim, 18, Abdullah, 22, Amin, 25, Sultan, 26, Abdullah, 20, Sukkur, 21, Tyeb, 20, Solim, 23, Syed Anis, 22 Mansur, 21 and Elias, 24.
Khaled Hossen, officer-in-charge (OC) of Satkania Police Station said acting on a tip off, police held the Myanmar citizens from the area around 10pm.
OC said a case was filed against them in connection to the matter.
