BNP Vice Chairman Selima Rahman has been released from Kashimpur jail in Gazipur on Friday morning.
Jail sources said Selima was released from Kashimpur Central Jail 3 around 12pm.
Jail Super Amjad Hossain said she was brought to the jail on January 8 and kept in the women cell.
He said Selima was relased after she secured bail from the High Court.
Earlier, Selima Rahman managed to secure bail in a case filed with Shahbagh police station for setting off crude bombs in the capital’s Shahbagh.
On Thursday, a Dhaka court granted bail to Selima Rahman on a Tk20,000 bond.
