The information regarding Indian forces inside the territory of Bangladesh is baseless and fabricated, the foreign ministry of Bangladesh said on Thursday.
A handout of press information department (PID) of information ministry was issued in regard to a news floated in the social network websites regarding the presence of Indian military in Bangladesh.
“The news cited a non-existent connection between the Bangladeshi high commission in Delhi and the foreign ministry,” the handout said.
The foreign ministry condemned the news and asserted that any ministry in Bangladesh or the country’s missions abroad is not affiliated with such activities.
The foreign ministry urged all to refrain from any confusion regarding this matter.
