The US embassyin Dhaka will remain close on the occasion of Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday on January 19, which is an American holiday.
The information was disclosed in a press release issued by the embassy on Thursday.
According to the press release, the Consular Section, the American Centre, the Archer K Blood American Centre Library and the Education USA Student Advising Centre will also remain closed on the occasion.
However, the duty officer will be available at 885-5500 and emergency services will still be provided to American citizens.
