Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Tungipara on Wednesday to pay homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The PM’s Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad confirmed this to the Dhaka Tribune on Tuesday morning.
Hasina will be visiting Tungipara for the first time after taking oath as prime minister of Bangladesh for the third time.
On Tuesday morning, Hasina paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War by placing wreaths at the National Memorial in Savar.
