Two people were killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Pulerghat Bazar area in Kishoreganj on Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Monir Hossain, 35, and Samir Kumar Talukder, 40.
Pakundia police station Officer-in-charge Hedayetul Islam said a bus collided head-on with a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Pulerghat Bazar area around 10:15am, killing one on the spot and injuring the others.
He said one of the injured succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
Meanwhile, driver of the killer bus was arrested.
