Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has won both Gopalganj-3 and Rangpur-6 constituencies in today’s national polls.
She was contested by Jatiya Party candidates Md Nur Alam Mia in Rangpur-6 polls and A Z Sheikh Apu in Gopalganj-6 polls, respectively.
In Rangpur-6 constituency, Hasina secured 148,599 votes, while Md Nur Alam Mia received 4,959 votes.
In Gopalganj-3 constituency, Hasina won 187,185 votes while A Z Sheikh Apu managed 2,430 votes.
Hasina’s victory in these polls brings the 13th win for her party Awami League.
