Three fake voters - one of them female - were detained in Soilkupa upazila in Jhenaidah on Sunday morning.
The detainees were identified as Chandni, 15, Rakib, 17, and Rasel, 17.
They were held from the Baroipara Govternent Primary School polling centre in the morning.
Executive Magistrate Iqbal Hossain said the three came to cast votes although they were not enlisted voters, so the authorities sent them to jail for the day.
