Miscreants exploded several crude bombs in front of two polling stations in the port city on Saturday evening.
The polling centres are Azizia Government Primary School and Mohammadia Government Primary School.
Zahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bandar police station, told the Dhaka Tribune some anonymous miscreants set off a number of crude bombs in front of the two polling centres around 7pm.
Meanwhile, three crude bombs were hurled targeting Regional Public Administration Centre while two were hurled in front of Z M Sen High School.
Earlier in the afternoon, miscreants launched an attack at Sadaha Adarsha Mahila Madrasa under Satkania upazila and torched ballot papers and two ballot boxes.
The miscreants also torched a truck used for carrying election materials, which was stationed in front of Sadaha Mohammadia Khairia Madrasa centre.
