The driver of a microbus of private television channel Somoy TV was injured as the blockaders have exploded one crude bomb and vandalised at least four vehicles in the city’s in Kazir Dewri area under Kotwali police station on Wednesday
Witnesses said a group of vandals chanting “Allahu Akbar” slogan, suddenly entered in the area, exploded one crude bomb and vandalised four vehicles, including the microbus of Somoy TV around 5:40pm, leaving the driver injured.
Mirza Saiem Mahmud, assistant commissioner of Kotwali Circle said: “Upon getting information, police rushed in and held three vandals from the spot.”
