Member of Bangladesh Public Service Commission Ikram Ahmed has been appointed as the new chairman of the commission.
The public administration ministry issued an order regarding the matter on Monday.
The order will be effective from the date of resignation of incumbent Chairman AT Ahmedul Huq Choudhury.
PSC Secretary Chowdhury Babul Hasan said the tenure of existing Chairman A T Ahmedul Huq Choudhury had expired on December 19.
