Nazma clinched gold medal in the women’s 60kg kumi event at the Victory Day Karate Championship at the National Sports Council gymnasium yesterday.
Alvina Khan won the silver medal while Beauty bagged bronze in the same event.
In the junior 16-18 age-level 40kg event, Md Ibrahim took gold, while Md Rubel and Arman Hossain won silver and bronze respectively.
Masud Rana won gold in senior men’s 45kg event. Rana Hossain and Jashim Uddin came in second and third respectively.
In the men’s 50kg event, Rakibul Islam, Md Kamruzzaman and Sajib won gold, silver and bronze respectively.
A total of 250 people took part in the two-day meet. - SH
