Blockade supporters torched four trucks in Fatki bridge area under Shajahanpur upazila in the district on Saturday.
Police Super Mozammel Hauqe confirmed the incident to the Dhaka Tribune.
The incident took place around 6:30pm when the vegetables laden trucks were bound for Dhaka.
In the meantime, at least 30 vehicles were vandalized, according to Muhammad Amin, a helper of one of those vehicles. Earlier, another lorry was set ablaze in Atli area in the township.
