After a difficult year on the personal front, with partner Angelina Jolie having a double mastectomy as a preventative measure against hereditary breast cancer, the couple marked the actor’s landmark birthday apart due to work commitments.
He has been nominated for an Oscar three times but has yet to be a winner.
Together with Jolie, Pitt also finds time to fight for causes close to his heart, including same-sex marriage and AIDS charities. Accomplished actor, dedicated family man and charity champion, who hardly looks a day over 30.
