Mobile phone operator Robi, has made the first digital flag of Bangladesh before making the human flag which created a Guinness World record on 16 December.
Robi created the first ever digital human flag of Bangladesh by creating a microsite for those who can’t join the World Record of Human National Flag campaign physically on 16 December, reports a press release.
The microsite - www.bdworldrecord.com was created on December 11 and started the digital flag campaign on December 13 after getting good response from the online viewers.
A total of 16,371 people participated in two-day campaign and it took 21,03,630 clicks to complete the flag.
According to the press release, the participants expressed their feelings by posting nice messages regarding December 16. Viewers, all around the world, were requested to share their opinion on the theme “Why they want to be a part of this record breaking attempt.”
In response, 660 people shared their feelings through this microsite, added.
Anyone can visit the microsite now and witness best wishes and the human flag.
Earlier on December 16, a total of 27,117 people made a new Guinness World Record for creating the biggest human flag in the world.
