The authority of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Sunday formed a six-member medical board to ensure better treatment for the 11-year-old bullet hit boy.
The committee was form with Prof Kazi Din Mohammad, principal of Dhaka Medical College as a convener of it.
The five other member of the medical board is Prof Dr Nazmul Ahasan, Prof Dr Shahiduzzaman, Associate Professor Kamrul Islam, Associate Professor Raziul Islam and Associate Professor Asit Chandra Sarker.
Confirming the incident, Dr Pijush Kanti Mitro, assistant registrar of neurosurgery department, told the Dhaka Tribune that they are now giving treatment as per suggestion of medical board and the injury of the child is healing.
“The child is now walking, taking food by him and moving but we are not letting him to do that as he is still so weak and needs rest to be cure,” Dr Pijush added.

Around 79 rubber bullets hit on his head and back who is now undergoing treatment at children ward of DMCH.
