A delegation of 41 members consisting former army officials of India who were ally and made fight for Bangladesh during 1971 met the Chief of Army Staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan at the Officers Mess in Dhaka Cantonment, UNB reports.
They will pay their homage to the martyrs of liberation war. They will place wreath to national mausoleum on the victory day. On the same day they will also visit Military museum and Shikha Anirban of Dhaka cantonment.
Lieutenant General (Retd) Adusumilli Seshagiri Rao leads the delegation whereby 4 current officers are accompanying.
