Two ambulances, one of them carrying the cadaver of war criminal Abdul Quader Molla, were on way to Faridpur on Thursday night.
The ambulances came out of Dhaka Central Jail at 11:12pm, more than an hour after the execution of Quader Molla.
Members of BGB, Rab and police were seen escorting off the ambulance.
Sources said the body would be taken to Sadarpur via Mawa route.
Senior Jail Superintendent Forman Ali told the Dhaka Tribune that the body of Quader Molla would be taken to his ancestral home in Faridpur after carrying out due post-death procedures.
