Family members meet Molla

Update : 12 Dec 2013, 12:22 PM

The family members of the war criminal Abdul Quader Molla met the convicted Jamaat-e-Islami leader for the second time in three days on Thursday.

Dhaka Tribune reporter Udisa Islam said the family, inclusive of 11 members, came out of Dhaka Central Jail at 7:07, after about 30 minutes of stay inside.

However, Hasan Jamil, in a text message, had earlier informed the Dhaka Tribune that six members of their family would be meeting Quader Molla.

Earlier at 3:30pm on Thursday, Molla’s family placed an application to jail authorities seeking permission to see him.

Following the request, the family was allowed to meet Quader Molla. They entered Dhaka Central Jail at 6:24pm.

Earlier on Tuesday, Quader Molla’s family members went to meet the Jamaat leader after the jail authorities had asked them to meet Molla urgently.

Molla’s wife Sanoara Jahan flashed the victory sign, a gesture that is generally made when someone wins something.

She made the gesture before she had even met her husband in jail.
