War crimes convict Delawar Hossain Sayedee’s witness Golam Mostafa Hawlader, who was injured in an attack by miscreants, succumbed to his injuries on early Tuesday.
Our Correspondent reports, Golam succumbed to his injuries at around 12am.
However, doctors declared his death this morning.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost in-charge Mozzamel Hoque confirmed the death to the Dhaka Tribune.
Mostafa and his family were sleeping when the attack was made at 3am on Sunday. Mostafa was hacked at on the head. His son Hafizur Rahman recognised two of the three attackers as Jamaat-BNP activists.
He was sent to DMCH from Khulna for treatment in critical condition.
