At least 10 people were injured including three members of police as blockade supporters clashed with them at the district’s Arrappaur, Sunday morning.
The injured policemen were SI Mizan Moitra and Constables Mithun and Shova.
Jhenaidah Sadar police station OC Kazi Jalaluddin Ahmed said police fired rubber bullets and launched teargas shells to disperse the blockaders at around 11am.
The injured were admitted to several clinics.
None were held in this connection till filing the report.
