PM advisers’ portfolios distributed

Four advisors to the Prime Minister were assigned on Wednesday responsibilities for eight ministries, according to a cabinet division announcement made on Wednesday.

Former Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Barrister Shafique Ahmed will continue in the same department as advisor.

Former minister Dilip Barua was assigned to three ministries: the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Industries, and Ministry of Social welfare.

Ministry of Shipping and Inland Water Transport, and Ministry of Posts and Telecommunication have been given to Anwar Hossain Manju.  

Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu has been made responsible for Ministry of Education and Women Development.

Earlier, they had been appointed as advisors to the prime minister after an all-party cabinet for polls-time government had been formed.
