Pro-BNP teachers of Dhaka University on Tuesday staged a protest rally in front of the capital’s Shaheed Minar, demanding the upcoming elections be held under a non-partisan interim government and cancellation of election schedule.
The pro BNP teachers brought out a procession from in front of the university’s Oporajeyo Bangla around 11am, our correspondent has reported.
Later, they staged a protest rally when the procession reached ShaheedMinar.
Pro-BNP Teachers Association Convener Dr Shohidul Amin, among others, was present in the rally.
