The regular cabinet meeting for Monday is not going to be held this week as the newly appointed ministers have yet to receive any notice from this cabinet division, reports cabinet secretariat source.
An official of the cabinet division told the Dhaka Tribune that the regular meeting of the cabinet has been deferred as all the ministers of the polls-time government would remain busy submitting their nomination papers on Monday.
According to the election schedule, the last date of submitting the nomination papers is December 2.
The official also said that most of the ministers and state ministers were in their electoral constituencies to submit their nomination papers.
However, any new date for the meeting is yet to be announced.
