The Dhaka Tribune on Friday, November 29 published an illustration in its “Top 10” section of the Weekend Magazine, with the theme of “10 ways to improve Bangladeshi politics.”
While the illustration has generated lots of praise, it has also been subject to some controversy as many have interpreted the gestures in the cartoon to be the “Nazi salute.”
The Dhaka Tribune has absolutely no intention of generating and/or promoting such views, and the “Nazi” association, as made by some, is in no way representative of the beliefs of the organisation or the cartoonist.
The illustration was purely intended to portray the citizens' commitment to Bangladesh.
