Popular actor of the small and big screen of Bangladesh, Apurbo, shows his singing talents at a charitable show Bangladesh Australia Friendship Fair at Sydney on November 17. He performed well-liked songs like Ore Nil Doriya of Abdul Jabbar and Kumar Bishwajit’s Tore Putuler Moto Kore. After singing two songs, the audiences were pleasantly surprised and pleased with his singing skills and wanted the actor to go on singing.
Apurbo was a beaming entertainer for his spectators and performed the timeless song of Ayub Bacchu, Shei Tumi, for the audience. About his experience in singing infront of the public, Apurbo states: “At first, everyone thought I was lip singing the songs. It was great to view the audience’s amazement to see me sing. I am overwhelmed for the love of the people of my country, living in Sydney.”
When asked whether he will release his own album, Apurbo mentions: “I have a desire to release an album. It is too early to talk about such ventures.” Soon, the actor will start shooting of Ashikur Rahman’s Gangster Return.
The resonant voiced actor first lent his voice in Ghor Chara, which was directed by Gazi Rakayet in 2006. After that, Apurbo sang the title song of Shihab Shahin’s drama series Bhaobashar Chotushkaan.
