The election-time interim cabinet will take oath on Monday afternoon.
President Abdul Hamid will administer the ceremony that will take place at 3pm, secretary to the president's office Monjur Hossain told Dhaka Tribune Sunday evening.
He was speaking after a meeting between President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister in the evening.
The meeting discussed Sheikh Hasina’s idea of all party government and overall political situation, BSS reported quoting Monjur Hossain.
The premier reached Bangabhaban at 6:45pm upon a prior appointed schedule. Cabinet Secretary Muhammad Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan was with her.
The new cabinet, with inclusion of some new faces, is expected to oversee the upcoming national elections which must be held within January 24.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had said the interim polls-time cabinet will be constituted with parliament members of all political parties.
Ruling Awami League leaders had repeatedly said this cabinet will be headed by Sheikh Hasina. However, this was the note of objection from main opposition BNP.
BNP has been waging movement in demand for a neutral non-party polls-time administration citing that a credible polls was not possible under Sheikh Hasina.
Meanwhile, moving ahead with election preparations, the ministers handed over their resignation letters on November 11 to pave way for the all-party cabinet.
Ministers, whose resignations will not be accepted by the prime minister, will be included in the new cabinet, Cabinet Secretary Muhammad Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan had said.
